Andrew drove back up to the region last Saturday for some family time, which left me a single lady in Indianapolis. I woke up that day with a hankering for some avo toast, and immediately decided that I would go to The Garden Table for lunch. That place is one of my happy spaces. After a quick shift in the hospital I took a shower, and was texting some friends, when one of them suggested the farmer's market since I was already heading up that direction anyways. What a lovely idea! So I drove myself singing Top 40 hits up to Broad Ripple for some farmer's market fun. It was my first time ever at this particular farmer's market, and boy it was so cute. I love all the smells and the sunshine. I love seeing the dirt on the vegetables and playing with my camera. And, even though I'm a gigantic extrovert who cries when I'm by myself sometimes (I'm a baby I know), my little solo morning venture was quite peaceful and energizing.
After perusing through the market I went on over to The Garden Table and treated myself to some avocado toast topped with juicy tomatoes and one of their fresh squeezed juices. A perfect single lady lunch, if you ask me.
It's days like this one where I'm extremely grateful for Indianapolis and all it's little gems.
For more information on the Broad Ripple Farmer's Market, check out their website! I'll definitely be back.
And check out The Garden Table sometime! I can't express how much I love everything about their restaurant, from their food to the decor to the fresh juice. Lush Love might be my new favorite drink of all time (plus it's pink and you know I'm all about that).
Wishing all of you the happiest of Tuesdays evenings! Go eat something extra nommy for me.
