Take me back to the beach! I miss it so. I was in the last car to make it down, along with the rest of my radiology buddies. We rolled in around 1 am to all our friends sleeping, but the next morning we wasted no time getting outside. It was admittedly a little cloudy and humid, and the waves were rough, but that didn't stop us from having an amazing first day. The feeling of the sand in my toes and the taste of the salty ocean put the biggest smile on my face.
And even though the lens of my camera became foggy from the humidity, I still managed to capture some great shots of my friends, the people who made this trip everything I needed it to be. I'm thankful for their laid back spirits, their goofiness, their tolerance for my camera.
The photos here are from day 1, when we literally did everything we possibly could at our cute Air Bnb, from the beach to the lagoon to the pool. There were a lot of snacks, a lot of booze, and plenty of activities from slam ball to dizzy bat to pulling out a splinter from Ben's toe... it seems redundant to keep saying it, but we had a blast.
Oh and finally, this is part 1 of 3, since there were way too many photos and also I have lots of thoughts swimming in my head lately and splitting up the photos gives me a little more space to write down said thoughts! For now, enjoy! Parts 2 and 3 to come very, very soon.
Please note Revathi's stink-face. Dying of laughter over here.
The College house boys!
How many future doctors does it take to get a splinter out of a toe?
This last photo I was nervous because I handed my camera to a stranger and usually those photos don't come out so great, but I have to hand it to her, she did a great job with this one!
Have a happy start to the weekend, folks!
